People across the world are wondering, “Will Punxsutawney Phil predict six more weeks of winter, or will he make Groundhog Day history by predicting an early spring for the second year in a row?” On February 2nd, the world will have its answer.

The Pennsylvania Tourism Office will host live coverage of the 134rd Groundhog Day celebration from Gobbler’s Knob in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Up to 30,000 visitors descend on Punxsutawney each year for this small town of just 5,500 residents.

According to the Punxsutawney Chamber of Commerce, the event adds about $1 million to the region each year.
