The revolving supper club is part of a year long commercial kitchen residency established by entrepreneur and chef Julién Godman and Peter Dalinowski, restaurateur of rightly named revolver.

The concept of the club is to share simple & invigorating wholesome food of the Armenian diasporan home – but with a contemporary vegetarian focus.

As Julién puts it, “whatever is fresh at the market that day will be on the chalkboard” – meaning there will be no set menu. Attendees can enjoy food and time with loved ones with little pretension, but much surprise.

The purpose of the club for this West Village resident is to explore his own cultural roots, as well as to raise a figurative flag to the Armenian narrative and history here in Detroit.

Over the course of the residency, Julién aims to launch the fundraising phase of his own vegetarian Armenian cafe and herbal tea distribution space in Detroit. This residency moves his vision one step closer.

The New-Armenian Supper Club will operate on a walk-in basis every other Tuesday at revolver, 9737 Joseph Campau. Doors at 5:00pm, food service from 5:30pm until 9:30pm. For the full winter/spring schedule visit their website.
