On Assignment All Summer Long
Hello readers. Hope this note finds you well. Unfortunately, I have had to place myself on assignment throughout these summer months, seeking interesting locations in Metro Detroit, the rest of Michigan and parts unknown – working alongside some talented nubile ingénues – in an effort to provide information I trust you find . . . informative.
It hasn’t always been easy. This week, for example, The Metropolitan is covering the Traverse City Film Festival and let me tell you; a few of these pictures make me wish I were home figuring out ways to pay the bills. That being said, I press on . . . because I’m a Newsman, I take my work seriously.
August is a time for travel, and I hope that each of you is able to enjoy as much of it as you can. Explore Michigan; check out some of our area beaches, catch a Tiger game or take a trip down 1950’s Woodward during the Dream Cruise. You’ll be happy you did. Before you know it, summer will be gone.
Now, if you will excuse me, it’s time to go back to work . . .
Happy summer, Anthony
