Inspired by the Traditions of Japan’s  Koinobori Festival
Traditionally, the Belle Isle Aquarium’s collection of koi fish have been celebrated at the annual koi transfer. With renovations to the lily pond being made to sustain outdoor life for the fish year-round, the koi transfer will not be held.
