#9 Detroit Beer Company

313-962-1529
Clearly, the nation still has a love affair with beer, as evidenced with Detroit Brewing Company’s 1,500 queries and 640 reviews. Would DBC be #9 if their name was “Bob’s Brewing Company”? We don’t know. But, we do know that metro Detroiters love a good home brew, and that is just what these boys have been doing for some time. Opened since 2003, the brewing company has made a name for itself chiefly among sportsman’s. And, with the Tigers in the playoff hunt and the Lions edging the Super Bowl we can continue to expect a very busy season for this local brewery.

1777 3rd Ave, Detroit, MI 48226, USA

Coming in last place on the list with 300 queries and 287 reviews is D.Prime in the MGM Grand. This high end steakhouse features classics such as Tomahawk Prime ribeyes, Veal Oscar, and Lobster with Truffle Butter. The atmosphere is vibrant, as it is in a casino, but D. Prime has made a name for itself among sports betters, table players, and Detroit’s swanky. Why go to Vegas when you can have it all right here in the D?
Speaking of gambling; what are the odds that a steak house, located in a casino, appear in a Top 10 list of a study conducted by a luxury gambling site?
Hmmm … I guess we’d take that bet.
