CELEBRATING “DETROIT TECHNO WEEK”

Red Bull Radio returns to Detroit for a weeklong celebration of music from the Motor City. Broadcasting live from a custom-built studio during Movement Electronic Music Festival, Red Bull Radio – Live From Detroit will bring the city’s thriving music and creative scenes to a global audience through exclusive mixes and interviews with local talent, as well as a 24/7 livestream from the festival.

All week long, Red Bull Radio’s new daily show Peak Time will beam out live interviews with Detroit artists from 12pm to 2pm Eastern, bridging the gaps between legendary music icons and the city’s thriving underground.

Red Bull Radio’s Live From Detroit programming will feature:

  • Detroit’s techno torchbearers Interdimensional Transmissions and their NYC counterparts The Bunker present daily shows featuring the Motor City’s top talent

  • Rap duo Earl Sweatshirt and Knxwledge broadcast their Red Bull Radio show “Stay Insidelive from the station’s Detroit studio

  • Livestream of the Red Bull Music Academy Stage at Movement Electronic Music Festival

  • New original score from Shigeto, in collaboration with Cuppetelli and Mendoza, for a new art exhibit at Detroit’s Red Bull House of Art

  • Red Bull Radio’s Counter Intelligence, a show dedicated to the world’s top record stores, will feature Detroit’s Peoples Records

  • Dedicated Movement Preview Channel: 24/7 stream featuring special DJ sets and live performances from previous editions of Movement, plus interviews with this year’s headliners.
